Watermans had a telephony system which needed to be brought up to date to match the increasing demands of the fast-growing firm. It was recognised as not being fit for purpose in terms of handling the call volume.
As the firm grew, its demand for broadband capability increased and, as a consequence of its geographical expansion, efficient connectivity was becoming a major priority.
Resource Telecom Group installed a communications package which allows Watermans’ Glasgow and Edinburgh offices to function as one cohesive unit. For instance, if call volume is such that one office is under pressure, calls are automatically routed to where there is capability.
Broadband speeds were enhanced by introducing Ethernet for the first mile at the Edinburgh office and a customised superfast broadband system for the Glasgow office.
Resource Telecom Group also backed up the new arrangements with its industry-leading aftercare and support system.
